Turkey Cookies

Nope not those boring ole sugar cookies... these are made from nothing but lots of chocolate!

Ingredients:

1/2 c choco chips

fudge striped cookies

fudge covered grahams

mini peaunt butter cups

ROLO's

candy corn

1 tube black decorating gel

 Place chocolate chips in a resealable freezer plastic bag, microwave on high for approx one minute or until just soft. Squeeze bag making sure chocolate is smooth and no clumps. Cut off tiny corner of bag. Squeeze bag and pipe a line of the melted chocolate on the bottom of shortbread cookie. Center cookie on graham holding in place for approx thirty seconds.

Tip:

This was a bit more challenging than you would think. I found if the chocolate was set some and not to warm and runny it didn't take as long for it to set just enough for it to hold. I then put them in the fridge for a couple minutes just enough to set.

After the main body is set. Take and squeeze a small amount of the chocolate onto the large end of the peanut butter cup placing near the bottom of the stripped cookie. Do the same thing with the ROLO but attach it to the top of the peanut butter cup. looking like this...

For the candy corn you will use the chocolate again and put enough on one side of the corn to attach to the body for the beak as well as for the legs. Use the black gel to add eyes to the candy corn beak. Your turkey should look something like this....
