His birthday was sneaking upon us all and he had no idea what he wanted to do, so, I took matters into my own hands. He love's the beach and sipping on Pina Colada's. Everyone was tight budgeted so, we tried bringing the beach to the house.

While he was @ work he had no clue us girls were secretly preparing a party for him
we had possibly too much fun hanging streamers, lighting the tiki torches, putting a grass skirt on the table...
making sure that dad's patio was as close to paradise as possible
we might have stopped to have a drink or few...
but who was counting? The party couldn't start with out the birthday boy.
( we were drinking a tequila sunrise in the above picture... it had a tad bit too much alcohol in it so we thought if we all ganged up and just drank it down it wouldn't be so horrible tasting!!!!)
I still needed a chaser and this was the closest and quickest to grab.
Finally the birthday boy arrived and I'm rather certain he was surprised.
we cut into the Hawaiin Pizza and got so carried away that the photographer slacked off too much and didn't get any more pictures of dad...
This was just the beginning of our weekend.....
